Apparently there's a movie coming out about human babies. I've decided I must seriously lack the maternal instinct gene because I don't get it. When I check my mail on AOL, I always get the latest headlines and today it's introducing the new documentary "Babies". Here's a tidbit of the article by Marina Zogbi:
"Especially arresting are the clip's opening scenario of two African babies playing and fighting, which ends with one crying pitifully (hard to explain why this is so adorable, but it is) and the closing tableau of the aforementioned goat sneaking up behind an unsuspecting baby in a bathtub."
So I watched the clip, you can see it here: http://insidemovies.moviefone.com/2010/03/19/babies-movie-trailer-buzz/?ncid=webmaildl2
What is so cute about babies fighting and screaming and crying? Seriously, I want to know. I find it irritating. There's is nothing cute about a human child crying.
Baby animals are cute. Fuzzy kittens and puppies are cute. Baby humans are especially cute when they reach 13 and dye their hair bright pink and wear tight black pants and sneak out the window in the middle of the night to meet their friends to smoke pot. Yeah, I bet you didn't consider that when you said "Oooh how cute!" at the last baby human you saw.
